![]() The lyrics are meaningful and the guest vocals really add to the song. Stay Alive: 3/5 stars, the song will grow on you if you let it, its a good anti-depression anthem with a good message. Some of the lyrics don’t make much sense (nothing left in the cage of my ribcage?) but its got a dark tone to it that Black Veil fans might like more as opposed to the pop-ness of the other tracks. Ribcage: 5/5 stars, again one of the the top songs on the album. The lyrics are are pretty deep if you listen to them and know the meaning of the songs which Andy lists as hating parties/social engagements and the fake bullshit that comes with it. We Don’t Have to Dance: 4/5 stars, one of the better songs on the album. The lyrics aren’t memorable expect for the fact that he says ‘fuck’. Seriously, I only listened to it to review it. Homecoming King: 1/5 stars, just skip this song, it is over auto-tuned and lacking in lyrics. Some of the songs (Put the Gun Down) are down right disturbing and I would actually warn anyone who is suicidal to avoid that track (and I’m not one to overuse ‘trigger’ warnings). ![]() Something note worthy of the album is the suicidal tone that is throughout a lot of the songs. While Ribcage, We Don’t Have to Dance, Drown Me Out and Break Your Halo are alright songs nothing really stood out as worthy of much praise. It’s about what I expected it to be, but I had hoped that there would be more than 2-3 listenable songs on the album. ![]() It feels very manufactured and it is obvious that it was meant to go main stream. The album overall was a bust, the lyrics felt rushed and some of the songs don’t make much sense. Worst Tracks: The Void, Homecoming King, Paint It Black Best Tracks: Ribcage, Drown Me Out, We Don’t Have to Dance, Break Your Halo
